Thanksgiving weekend

A little summary of our 5free days intended for the Thanksgiving feast...

Wednesday was Thanksgiving Eve, and before meeting with all the American and French students at the theatre, my family took me for a ride on road 66 and I had the opportunity to visit the Pop's store which is a store basically selling sodas... It was crazy all the sodas that were : I wasn't bold enough to taste the bacon soda or the chicken wings one ! On the evening, we went to the Chikasha light festival which was an impressive demonstration of the electricity spending, but very nice to see, I have to say.

Thursday was Thanksgiving Day, the family of my hosting one is spread all around America so it was a little Thanksgiving feast but as good as the others, I believe so. I did a lot of food experimentation very interesting in watching the Macy's parade on television and in the evening we went to the theatre while the father invited a friend to watch American football.

Black Friday was exhausting, because nine hours of shopping after only three hours of sleep is quite unusual. Plus, the sleep over in the evening, we had a hard day but a very good one.

And today I went ice skating and foraging in a bookstore with my penpal, we had a wonderful and funny time !

Tomorrow is the returning to school, and the beginning of another unforgettable week !
